When my parents were married in 1980, my mother borrowed her sister's gown and they had a pot luck reception at the local church. My mother's "something new" was her veil. 28 years later my mother has offered her something new as my something old. I already have and love my veil, so how should I use hers?
We would like to make more than one piece from the veil so my sister can have a something old for her wedding day. We have thought about making it into handkerchiefs or wrapping my bouquet handle, but we just are not in love with those ideas.
